Andy Webb's career in journalism stretches back more than 40 years, from his apprenticeship on weekly then daily newspapers through reporting on radio and television.

After close to 20 years with the BBC he embarked on an award-winning career as a documentary film-maker for networks such as National Geographic, Discovery and PBS, as well as all the leading UK broadcasters.

One of the stories he explored in that time was the BBC's scandalous treatment of Princess Diana and their attempts to cover it up. A documentary series for UK Channel 4 resulted in the setting up of a judicial inquiry to examine the scandal - and the inside story of these events is the subject of his first book, Dianarama.
